A Nostalgic Sip from History
For those uninitiated, the Festbier style originates from the Oktoberfest traditions of Munich, Germany. Historically, these were stronger lagers brewed in March (Märzen) and left to ferment over the summer, only to be relished during the fall festivities. As time evolved, while the Märzen style remained, a lighter yet equally flavorsome version, known as Festbier, emerged as a favorite for Oktoberfest celebrations.
What's unique about Festbier is its immaculate balance. It brings together a light amber hue, a malt-forward profile, and just the right hop bitterness to give beer enthusiasts an unforgettable drink.
