A Note to Our Community: Why We’re Growing, and What It Means to Us

We’ve said it from the start: We’re not interested in chasing growth for the sake of it. If we open a new door, it’s because we believe it brings us closer to the communities we care about and the values we hold tight.

So before we open those new doors, we want to share a bit about why this moment matters, and how each new space reflects something essential about who we are.

First, Thank You

Everything that’s brought us here began with you. Our community in Richmond. Our friends across the Bay. The folks who stuck with us as we focused on brewing classic styles with quiet precision, and who reminded us that doing something well, without cutting corners, still matters.

You helped us build this. And because of you, we’re ready to grow.

This September, we’re opening two new spaces:

  • The Rec Room at the Metreon in San Francisco – Opening early September

  • Tam Tavern in Mill Valley – Opening mid to late September

These aren’t just new places to grab a beer. They’re new expressions of East Brother Beer Co.—each one rooted in a different part of our identity.

Richmond: Where It All Happens

Richmond is where we built our brewery. It’s where we’ve spent long days honing our process and long nights perfecting each style we brew. It’s where our team shows up every day with the same commitment to detail and pride in the work.

Richmond shaped our voice: quietly confident, deeply rooted, and focused on doing things right.

Every beer we pour, no matter where you drink it, still starts here. And it always will.
