Raising a Glass to the Great American Craft — ACBW 2025

The Great American Craft — Why We Celebrate ACBW

Once a year, the craft beer community takes a collective pause to raise a glass and recognize something worth preserving: the spirit of American craft beer. American Craft Beer Week (May 12–18, 2025) is more than a celebration — it’s a reminder of why we do what we do.

At East Brother Beer Co., that “why” has always been rooted in reverence. Reverence for the styles that shaped beer history. For the labor behind each batch. For the tradition of sharing something well-made with good company.

When we launched East Brother in Richmond, California, our mission wasn’t to reinvent beer. It was to refine it — to elevate the classics and brew them with consistency, clarity, and character. That’s why you’ll find Bo Pils, Red Lagers, and Gold IPAs on our taps and shelves. These beers aren’t flashy. They’re not gimmicky. They’re timeless — and that’s exactly the point.

Craft beer, at its core, is about integrity. It's about knowing your brewer, trusting their process, and tasting the care in every sip. During American Craft Beer Week, we celebrate all the independent brewers who keep this ethos alive — and we celebrate you, the drinkers who choose substance over spectacle.

So whether you’re enjoying an East Brother classic at our taproom, discovering us at your local Safeway, Whole Foods, or Raley’s, or cracking a can on the trail or at the table — you’re part of this story.

A story of passion. Precision. And the enduring power of a well-crafted beer.

Here’s to American craft. And here’s to you.
