TASTING NOTES:
APPEARANCE: Pours a dark brown with maroon highlights and a soft light tan head. Expect brilliant clarity as with all of our lagers.
AROMA: Layers of rich malt, dark chocolate, burnt sugar, and light coffee are all present on the nose. A small amount of earthy noble hop quality, but the malt is clearly the star and showcases a complex and enticing bouquet.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body, soft carbonation, smooth finish.
FLAVOR: Lightly sweet and refreshingly smooth. Medium-light bodied, with a good balance of bready malt, rich maillard character, and pleasant roast/coffee that cleanses the palate between sips. Equally as complex as the aroma.
