Starting on Wednesday, February 13th, 2019, join us every Wednesday for our new East Brother Rec League (4-8pm).

Here’s how it works…

On Wednesday nights, league members can come to the East Brother Rec Room (aka the tap room), to compete in games against other members for points and, as they accumulate points, rewards. Each week:

  • Players show their membership cards to receive a Rec Room glass to drink out of for the night; this gets members $1 off each pint purchased on Wednesdays

  • Members pick a game to play, competing against another member or members (games such as ping pong and cornhole may be played as teams of 2)

  • Game winners or members of a winning “team,” each get 10 points. Losing individuals get 3 points for participating—all recorded on Rec Room scorecards.

  • On a given night, each individual maxes-out at 50 points.

  • Upon retiring for the evening, members return the Rec Room glass and their score-card.
East Brother will record scores and update the master leaderboard.

Quarterly, the top highest-scoring members engage in playoffs. Top scorers participate as individuals in an evening of round robin style competition.

Top 3 winners will be awarded medals and the grand prize winner will receive a custom growler with the special acheivement of half-priced fills at our taproom.

Our roster of games will change at times but we’ll have some mix of the following:

  • Bocce

  • Ping pong

  • Pool

  • Cornhole

  • Pinball

  • Retro arcade games

  • Various boardgames

To participate in weekly game play, you’ll need to become a Rec Room member. For a one-time payment of $40 you will receive:

  • a one-year membership

  • an exclusive Rec Room tee shirt

  • a membership card + lanyard

  • small swag items

  • $1 off every pint you buy on Wednesday nights

  • 10% off the purchase of any EB merchandise

  • early pint access to new beers

  • the chance to compete for points, rewards and, ultimately, prizes and bragging rights

Drop into the tap room to sign up.

We can’t wait to see who takes home the pennant.
